About this experience
Ascent to one of Cusco's most spectacular and little-known archaeological sites, with stunning Andean views and unique Inca ruins.
Detailed Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel between 04:00 and 04:30 a.m., departure from Cusco at approx. 04:45 a.m. We travel approximately 2 hours south to the town of Cusipata where we have breakfast.
We then continue by vehicle for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to the trailhead.
The hike is approximately 2 hours with ups and downs. We reach the Waqrapukara archaeological site where we have free time for photos and to explore this beautiful place.
We return via the same trail (2 hours of hiking), then board the vehicle for lunch and the drive back to Cusco. Arrival 19:00 to 19:30 p.m.
