Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca on ATVs
About this experience
The most thrilling way to reach Vinicunca: ride an ATV from Kayrahuiri to the mountain base, then a short hike to the main viewpoint.
Detailed Itinerary
We begin with pickups from your hotels. Approximately 2 hours of travel to the village of Cusipata where we have breakfast at our restaurant.
We board our vehicle again heading to Kayrahuiri — approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Along the way we observe the multicolored landscapes and crops blending with the mysterious mountains.
We arrive at the base where we take the ATVs, with a 15-minute practice session beforehand.
We ride approximately 30 minutes to the base of the rainbow mountain, then hike 15 minutes to the main viewpoint.
We return by the same path to the vehicle, then head to our restaurant for lunch and return to Cusco.
